Merced Yosemite Regional Airport now offers nonstop Contour Airlines service to Los Angeles (LAX) and Las Vegas (LAS) from its new passenger terminal, providing the most convenient way to arrive in Merced and begin your Central California or Yosemite adventure.

By Train
Gold Runner (formerly Amtrak San Joaquins)
The Gold Runner stops directly in Downtown Merced, with daily service from the Bay Area, Sacramento, the Central Valley, and Southern California. From Merced Station, connect to Yosemite via YARTS or explore Downtown Merced before continuing your adventure.
By Car
Highway 99 & Highway 140
Merced sits at the crossroads of two major California routes. Highway 99 runs north–south through the Central Valley, connecting Merced to Sacramento and Fresno. Highway 140 heads east directly into Yosemite National Park — the most scenic and popular western gateway to the park.
